Chayoos, Vashi (Veg+Non Veg)

Chayoos - a chai adda for all the Tea lovers. (Serves – Veg & Non-Veg)

The craze for Tea was, is, and will always be there. With time people have started looking out for variations that keep their love and addiction interesting. This increasing trend is leading to various Tea Specific Joints not only in India but also abroad. People have started understanding the benefits of Tea and cafes are competing in the market to create an enjoyable experience for their customers. Although Tapri ki chai ka maza he lajawab hai (only the taste of tea from a stall is enjoyable), Chaayos has a great concept too. They have tried their best to bring in a concept of Kulhad.

The Tea they serve is in Kullad, which is a great concept for people living in metro city. Kulhad or Kulhar is a traditional handle-less, clay cup from India and Pakistan that is typically not painted nor glazed, and meant to be disposable. Since kulhads are made by firing klin (a type of oven to make kulhad) and are almost never reused, they are inherently sterile and hygienic. They provide an earthy aroma to the beverage, which no other material can provide, and also they are environment-friendly and cost-efficient than plastic.

Here you can get varieties of Tea with quick snacks.

Their menu covers a variety of chai, shakes, breakfast items like poha, samosa, vada pav, pav bhaji, Chana masala, sandwiches, and more.

As their tag line suggests, they have a concept of Meri wali Chai, where you will get a choice to instruct how you want your tea to be.

With a good ambiance and perfect location, Chaayos in Vashi Inorbit Mall is a quick bite location, where we can quickly have snacks and a cup of tea/coffee and begin your shopping. They have both inside the store and outside the store open sky sitting setup. What is best then have beverages and snacks served hot, under the sky.

Also, they have various quotes on their walls inside, which makes it all the way more interesting to read and enjoy the time.

Talking about the price, it is a bit on the higher side, compared to the taste and quantity of snacks provided. Considering this as a go to snack joint on the premises of the mall and proper seating arrangement, it is acceptable, but I would prefer going to the Food court and rather try a variety of things there.

Kullad Pav Bhaji (⭐⭐⭐) - Taste is average as they put too much of Pav Bhaji masala, which makes it average but the presentation and concept are good.
Chana Masala (⭐⭐) - Tasty but the quantity is less.
Cold Coffee (⭐⭐⭐⭐) - I prefer cold coffee on a hot day and it was a good one.
Overall an average experience with respect to taste and food, but it is a good place to spend some time and relax and have a chit-chat with your bunch of friends.

Rating: 3.5

Verdict: Overall an average experience with respect to taste and food, but it is a good place to spend some quality time and relax and have a chit-chat with your bunch of friends. I would give them thumbs up on vibes and thumbs down on food.
